How to Use Your Candle & Tealight Refills

Container Candles
Burn your candle to the end
Cool your candle
Pop your candle jar in the freezer for a few hours (yep – I said freezer!) – when you freeze your wax, it shrinks the wax slightly, leaving a tiny ring of air round the outside of the wax, making it easier to pop out.
Remove your candle jar from the freezer, and then use a spoon (if you have one, silicone spoons help to prevent scratching on the bottom of your jar) to lightly shimmy your candle wax out.
Once the wax has been removed, clean your jar (don’t put your jars in the washing machine – simply hand-washing will do the job) with a little washing up liquid and hot water. Simples!
Pop your new refill into your old jar. You will need to push it down a bit until you can’t push it down any more, to ensure it reaches the bottom of the jar.
Once in place, simply light and then use your candle as you would usually! Remember to burn your candle for 3-4 hours the first time you burn, to ensure the whole candle is burned throughout its life span.
Refillable Tealights
These are very simple to reuse! When burned to the end, wait for the wax to cool then simply pop out the old wick and pop into the recycling. Then pop your new tealight into the aluminium or jesmonite cup and light as usual! Easy peasy!
