Our Environmental Statement

At Time to Burn, we're serious about protecting our planet.

We use 100% natural soy wax from EcoSoya, a company committed to sustainability. They source their soybeans responsibly, avoiding paraffin, palm, beeswax, and animal products. Their waxes are also biodegradable and vegan-friendly.

Our wooden wicks are more sustainable than traditional cotton wicks, as cotton wicks require plastic wick stickers.

We use only natural essential oils from Nikura, which are produced sustainably through cold pressing and water distillation methods. These methods are eco-friendly as they require less energy and produce less waste compared to other extraction methods.

Our candle jars are handmade in small batches in our candle kitchen using Jesmonite, an eco-friendly, water-based, solvent-free resin alternative. Jesmonite Limited, the manufacturer, is committed to sustainability and aims for carbon-neutral operations. Their pigments are also water-based and environmentally friendly.

For packaging, we use recyclable cardboard boxes and biodegradable mailing bags.

We minimise labels and use water-based ink stamps.

Our packing tape is made from kraft paper with a natural rubber adhesive derived from the latex sap of rubber trees.

We also add a cork base to our candles and homeware to protect surfaces, as cork is a sustainable and renewable material harvested from cork oak trees.
