Small Business Sundays
Giving love to my favourite small businesses
Small Business Sundays is a series on Instagram where I highlight a new hand-crafted and passionate small business each Sunday.
We have a huge wealth of creative businesses here in the UK with owners who put their heart and soul into what they do - from yoga teachers to coffee shop owners; skincare brands to pottery stores, I want to highlight the fabulous creators who live and work on our doorstep.
All of the businesses and people I focus on are run by someone who loves what they do, has a focus on natural products that are kind to the environment and our health, and are created by hand.
EPISODE 6: 4th January 2026
Jess Lacey Waxing Experts
So January focus is Jess Lacy! She is just lush! Honestly, if (as a woman!) you have to get half naked every month or so for someone you've got to trust them! And Jess is fab! She literally is so straight talking and doesn't dilly dally! Nothing worse than a chatty waxer that spends more time talking when you just want it over and done with! She's super professional, friendly, hilarious and most importantly REALLY WELL PRICED! She could charge way more as let's be honest, the cost of a business in Cheltenham must be huge, but she cares about her clients and doesn't wanna out price!
Also her dog is the cutest friendliest little doggo!!! She gives you a cuddle while you wait!
Check out @jessicalacy_waxingexperts if you're Cheltenham based! ❤️❤️❤️
EPISODE 5: 9th November 2025
Paper Tail
So I have a clinically obese cat called Frankie. There is nothing better than a cat, in my opinion. Yep. I am a cat lady. And I'm not ashamed to admit it.
So when I came across Paper Tail at a little cute market in Edinburgh a while ago, I fell in love.
The colourful adorable designs she makes are SOOOOO lush and if you're a cat lover then check her out!
